Data controller
Virezio is the data controller for personal information handled through this website. Contact hello@virezio.com.
Virezio is based in North West England. A geographic business/service address is supplied directly to prospective clients before a contract is concluded and on project paperwork where required.
Information you provide
When you request a website quote, ask for a call or contact Virezio, we may receive your name, email address, phone number, business name, current website or social page, budget range, preferred timing and the project information you choose to provide.
How we use your information
We use enquiry and client information to respond to you, assess website requirements, prepare quotes, take steps you request before entering a contract, deliver agreed work, provide support, maintain security, keep business records and comply with legal and accounting obligations.
Depending on the activity, the lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation, or legitimate interests in running and protecting the business and managing relevant business relationships.
Booking a consultation
When you book a consultation, you do it through Calendly. Calendly handles your name, email address and your answers to the booking questions so that it can schedule the call, send you confirmations and reminders, and let us know a time has been booked. We use that information to hold the call and to reply to you. Calendly is an independent service with its own privacy notice.
Free website check
When you use the free website check, we open the public web page you type in and ask Google’s PageSpeed Insights service to test its speed. We keep the results for up to 24 hours so a repeat check is quick. The check itself doesn’t ask who you are.
If you ask us to email the fix list, we use your first name and email address to send it, and we keep a copy as an enquiry so we can answer questions about it. If you tick the box asking us to get in touch, we’ll contact you about the fixes. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Free tools
Our free tools work in your browser and don’t ask who you are. The Google review link tool sends the business name you type to Google’s Places service to find the matching Google listing. The calculators and the search preview don’t send what you type to us.
If you ask us to email you a result, we use your first name and email address to send it, and we keep a copy as an enquiry so we can answer questions about it. If you tick the box asking us to get in touch, we’ll contact you about it. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Page feedback and WhatsApp
At the bottom of each page we ask whether it was useful. Choosing Yes or Not really is only counted anonymously, like our other website events. If you then write a comment and press Send, we receive your rating, your comment, your email address only if you choose to add one, and the page you were on. It is emailed to us so we can improve the site. We don’t use it for marketing, and we only use your email address to reply if you asked us to.
We don’t keep feedback in a database. The email stays in our inbox only for as long as we need it to improve the site, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under their own terms and privacy notice, not ours.
Business outreach
Where Virezio carries out business-to-business outreach, business contact information may come from public business websites, directories or professional profiles. If the information identifies a person, data-protection law applies.
Electronic marketing to individual subscribers and certain partnerships is only sent where the applicable consent or soft opt-in rules allow it. Corporate business contacts can object or opt out at any time, and suppression information may be retained so that an opt-out is not accidentally reversed.
Service providers
The website uses Cloudflare for hosting and first-party measurement, Resend for enquiry and feedback email delivery, Calendly for scheduling consultation calls, Google PageSpeed Insights for the free website check, a customer relationship management (CRM) system for managing enquiries, and Google Workspace for business email. Information is shared only as needed for those services and for agreed website work.
Cookies and website analytics
When you first visit, a cookie banner lets you accept all, reject all, or choose. You can change your mind at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Your choice is saved in your browser.
Essential. These keep the website working and remember your cookie choice. They are always on.
Analytics. We use Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine to count a fixed set of website events, such as page views, demo opens, booking clicks, tool use and form success or failure. These counts are anonymous: they don’t include names, email addresses, phone numbers, messages or what you type into our tools, and they don’t set cookies. They are on unless you turn them off, and they stay off if your browser sends a “do not track” or Global Privacy Control signal.
Advertising. Virezio advertises on Google. If you allow advertising cookies, the website loads Google’s advertising tag, which sets cookies so Google can tell us when someone who clicked one of our ads sends an enquiry. If you don’t, the tag isn’t loaded and no advertising cookies are set. Google’s use of this information is described in Google’s advertising policies.
Interactive demo details stay in page memory and are not sent to Virezio.
International processing
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where UK data-protection transfer rules apply, Virezio relies on the relevant provider safeguards and lawful transfer mechanisms.
Retention
Enquiries that do not become projects are normally kept for up to 12 months so that follow-up questions can be handled, unless there is a legal or dispute-related reason to keep them longer. Client, invoice and accounting records are kept for the period required by HMRC and other applicable legal obligations.
Your rights
Depending on the processing and lawful basis, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict or object to processing, and receive certain information in a portable format. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent.
